Alanis Morissette
Alanis Nadine was born 1 June 1974. She was born in Ottawa, Canada. Alanis' Greek name is a feminine version of her father's name: Alan. Her two siblings are Chad (Alanis twin) and Wade. As a young girl she started learning to play the piano. Then, at 21, the guitarist. In 1986, Alanis created a song titled Fate Stay with I (b-side: Find The Right Man). She was a dance-pop Canadian artist, she recorded two albums: Alanis (1991), and Now Is The Time (1992). She was 18 when she relocated to Toronto and collaborated with various artists and songwriters, however they didn't seem to work. Then she met her new partner in the year 1994: Glen Ballard. He had collaborated with other musicians including Aretha, Michael Jackson, and Barbra. In 1994, she made the move to LA in the age of 19. Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill" on June 13th 15th, 1995. Alanis' songs are autobiographical. JLP is sold around 30 million copies all over the world. This album has been the highest selling female album and the 3rd most popular album all time.
